SHS have always had a great reputation of providing High Quality Garden Installations & Restorations for Architects & Designers throughout the North East & Scotland. Now we are delighted to offer our own in House Service so that we can plan as well as install the Garden Of Your Dreams. This service includes: :

  • Fully qualified Landscape Architects as well as an external team of Award winning Garden Designers ensuring we provide a number of style choices to suit our clients needs and budgets from Individual Borders to Estate Planning, Classical to Contemporary
  • Hand Drawn Plans & Illustrations to Computer Aided Designs. We take your ideas, polish them and turn them into reality.
  • Offer Greater Efficiency & Cost Effectiveness to our clients by providing a One Stop Shop for every aspect of their garden.
  • As fully accredited members of SAFEContractor all works are Fully Guaranteed & Installed to current Industry Standards.

Fee Structures

As a general guideline, Design fees for an installation are 5 - 10% of the total value of the job* We typically come out to site and meet you, assess the garden and determine your requirements. Upon return we will formulate a Brief based upon our findings and provide a quotation to carry out the Design Concept We typically charge 500.00 + Vat for a Design Concept and budget costing covering site visits in and around the North East. If the project is located outside of that region, we will arrange travelling expenses with you.

Border Renovations - Maintenance & Aftercare:

High quality gardens tend not to happen overnight. They need time to mature and develop, and sometimes revised. We offer a full gardening service to ensure the gardens reach their potential. Costs are based upon a daily fee of 300.00 + Vat for a Gardening Team on site plus any material cost.
